Parent Bullying Resources

     Johnsburg School District 12 is taking a proactive approach to bullying and we want our parent community to know where to go to access resources for bullying in order to assist in training their children in staying safe.  The following link will support this important endeavor.

In partnership with the departments of Health and Human Services, Agriculture, Interior, Defense and Justice, the U.S. Department of Education is developing key strategies to support and encourage efforts to prevent bullying in schools.

In addition to the first Federal Bullying Prevention Summit in August and support of the Stop Bullying Now! campaign, the Education department launched a bullying-resource Web site.  Click on the following site to gain more information on bullying.
Bullying Information 

A new resource that was developed in Washington, D.C. has now been made live for teachers and parents to access regarding bullying.  We want as much information to go out to our parents and community members as possible to address bullying head on and to eliminate this concern.  Please use this information to become better educated on what bullying is and how to address the issue.
